Skejo.com is the social experiment trying to generously reward the expert contributors among us. Nearly every interaction with this community is rewarded with Skejo Points, which can be redeemed for site priviledges, gift certificates and/or other items. There are many ways to contribute to this repository of expertise (free registration required). Here are a few examples.

Write Articles - The largest contributions to Skejo.com are the full length, expert articles, and therefore have the highest initial rewards. They may also win periodic popularity awards, with eligibility for such awards lasting up to a year after submission!

Submit Other Content - To a lesser extent, suggesting weblinks and submitting downloads also will accumulate points. Popular downloads may also be eligible for contest bonus points.

Articles, downloads, images and links can be added using the content submission page (must be logged in to access).

NOTE: Blog entries are exempt from rewards and do not accumulate points (though they are useful to recommend other articles or submissions you have entered).

Comments and Forum Activity - Furthering the thoughts or content of an article by commenting on it, as well as participating in the forums will also increase your points. (Comments should only be used to add further thought to an article, not a place to say, 'Nice writeup'.)

Article Voting - You can help us find out what the best content is by voting for articles or by writing member reviews about them. Just read the articles and then vote on how helpful and clear they were for you.

Referral Bonuses - Another potentially significant way to gain points it through referral points. For each member that you refer to the site, you gain a percentage of periodic article awards they are given. This bonus is only for article submissions, so seek out those expert writers that you know and invite them to contribute here. You may not steal their material and post it as your own though. They must join the site themselves, listing you are as the referrer. Then they will post their own work, and you will get the referral bonuses. Visit here to see how to use your referral link.

Other Ways - By special invitation, members may be asked to moderate the forums, be section editors, or even site admins. Each of these positions merit increased point opportunities, as well as other perks. Do not ask to be promoted. Just be a consitent, quality contributor and you will not be overlooked.

At times, we will consider opening new sections, with the desire to expand the available knowledge, as well as increase the opportunities to contribute. If you believe you could be an editor of a new section, or key contributor, contact us and we can see if the new idea is worth pursuing.
