Well, I hunkered down to start developing a website for clans on BaboViolent 2 and came up with this after less than an hour. Not bad... it's a new (hopefully) default theme for Drupal 5.0! The site uses the already upgraded Organic Groups module to run the various clans. Alas and alack, they decided to go with a custom solution after all... but it was a lot of fun, and I'm still going to develop a chat site for them.

About the chat... There is a Chatroom module available for Drupal 4.7 that is wonderful. You create chatrooms that are like chat containers, and within each chatroom you can start a chat conversation. The AJAX interface is pretty smooth, and it seems to work just fine. I'll let you know how the BaboViolent chat site goes and post a link for sure!

Also, I was somewhat asked to join the team for upgrading chat to Drupal 5.0. If I think my spare time can handle it, I might just give it a go. You can be sure I'll post updates here!
