Woohoo! I finally rolled out the initial release of Ubercart today. It took a few extra hours after everyone had gone home and the phones stopped ringing for me to finalize everything, but it's up! It's wonderful to be at this first milestone in development...
My personal blog site, http://ryan.grinhost.net, has been given a huge facelift. ;) I've been using 5.0 at work for over a month but just recently (with the release of Garland) decided to convert my own site.
Well, I hunkered down to start developing a website for clans on BaboViolent 2 and came up with this after less than an hour. Not bad... it's a new (hopefully) default theme for Drupal 5.0! The site uses the already upgraded Organic Groups module to run the various clans. Alas and alack, they decided to go with a custom solution after all... but it was a lot of fun, and I'm still going to develop a chat site for them.
Since this is a site for gaming as well as web development... I thought I'd mention I just found an amazing freeware "shooter" called BaboViolent 2. It's a purely multiplayer game with deathmatch/capture the flag games... it's a simple interface, top down view, but highly addicting and easy to get into. You've gotta check it out!
Well, here I am at SkeJo. I'm not sure what exactly I'll do here... but here I am. :)
Honestly, keeping one blog is time consuming enough, but I'm sure I'll figure out what would be right to post here. I can always double post if it's something that might be interesting at both places. Grandma doesn't care to read about Drupal stuff at my own blog, but maybe people here would be a little more interested!
